“What Is Still Possible in the Place Where We Stand?” builds on the encounters that took place as part of the postgraduate program “Art as Social Practice”. Situating the arts as commons, the contributions trace some of the collective artistic processes that unfolded over the course of the program between 2023-2025 and offer insights into practices and trajectories that are rarely discussed, documented, or represented. The texts gathered in the book describe collective artistic approaches that unfold their processes amid the challenges of high hopes and plentiful pitfalls, and describe, based on hands-on experience, how these questions become shared processes of learning and unlearning, and what they can teach us about becoming a wider ecology of knowledge.
