2. What we collect and why

We process personal data only to operate this website and shop. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance — for orders) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest — for security and minimal analytics).

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Server logs (IP, browser, time of request) are kept up to seven days for security purposes. An order-data-processing agreement (AVV) is in place.

4. Shop checkout — Snipcart

The shopping cart and checkout are provided by Snipcart Inc., 4500 Boulevard Henri-Bourassa, Quebec, Canada. When you place an order, your name, address, email, and order contents are transmitted to Snipcart to process the order. Payment data (credit card / PayPal / SEPA) is collected by Snipcart's payment processors and is never stored on our servers. Snipcart is GDPR-compliant; their privacy policy is at snipcart.com/legal/privacy-policy.

5. Invoicing — sevdesk

After an order is placed, the order data is forwarded to sevdesk GmbH, Hauptstraße 115, 77652 Offenburg, Germany, to generate the invoice. This is required for our statutory tax-record-keeping obligations (§ 14 UStG, § 147 AO). Their privacy policy: sevdesk.de/datenschutz.

6. Shipping — Sendcloud

Shipping labels are generated through Sendcloud B.V., Stationsplein 32, 5611 AC Eindhoven, Netherlands. Your name and shipping address are forwarded to Sendcloud and onward to the chosen carrier (DHL, Deutsche Post, DPD, GLS, Hermes, or UPS) to fulfil the delivery. Sendcloud's privacy policy: sendcloud.com/legal/privacy.

7. Newsletter — Mailchimp

If you sign up for our newsletter, your email is processed by Intuit Mailchimp, 405 N Angier Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. We use double-opt-in: you confirm via a link sent to your inbox before any newsletter is dispatched. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each newsletter. Mailchimp's privacy policy: mailchimp.com/legal/privacy. Mailchimp is GDPR-compliant under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies and does not integrate Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar. Snipcart sets a small number of functional cookies required for the shopping cart to remember its contents during your visit. These are strictly necessary and do not require consent.

9. Your rights

You have the right, at any time and free of charge, to: access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR); have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16); have your data deleted (Art. 17); restrict processing (Art. 18); receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20); object to processing (Art. 21); and complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR — the relevant authority for Berlin is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

10. Retention

Order data and invoices are retained for ten years to comply with German tax law (§ 147 AO). Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted after seven days.
