Techniques of Invisibility is a collection of interviews with thinkers
and makers from a wide range of disciplines on the position of the body
in the 21st century. The book explores themes of somatic awareness and
embodied cognition in relation to human-computer interaction and digital
culture. In a time when the both the body and that which cannot be
translated into an image are increasingly negated and mistrusted, Techniques
of Invisibility seeks to underline invisible forms of communication which
are fundamental to our perception of our surroundings.
